DOLLHOUSE EXHIBIT
The Madison County Historical Society is very pleased to announce that the Dollhouse Exhibit has become a permanent display at the Museum of Madison County History.
Many county residents have donated items for the exhibit. Some have been in pristine condition while others have come to us in pieces.
Currently, we have 36 dollhouses ready for display. However, only 20 are in the display room while the others are periodically rotated into the exhibit. The houses are from 1940 to our Magnolia dollhouse which is still in production.
Diana and Chris have done a magnificent job in the renovation of several houses. They have donated many furnishings or have hand made them.
Many visitors may not be able to have room for a dollhouse; however, you can bring a small box(such as a shoe box) and we can show you how to make a room such as a living room, bedroom or bathroom.
We are excited about this exhibit and invited you to come to see it. You will be glad you did!
For more information and questions can be directed to Diana Pine. You can find her at Museum at 765-683-0052.
The Museum of Madison County History is located on the corner of West 11th and Meridian Streets, downtown Anderson, Indiana. This is another free exhibit so come one and all, especially bring the children! You will not be disappointed.
