The Madison County Historical Society presented "The Cowboy Way " Exhibit which will be on display from Monday, March 10, 2014 to Friday, May 30, 2014. The display is at the History Center, 7 West 11th Street, Anderson, Indiana. The Exhibit Hall is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
The display and collection is large and robust with the focus being on Roy Rogers and Dale Evans. However, many, many other favorite cowboy heroes are included. On display is a collection of of pictures, memorabilia, articles, collectibles, books, and magazines.
Our big "THANK YOU" to Laura Gwaltney for putting this collection together over the years and then its organization into an exhibit at the History Center. Laura and her husband travel to many shows and gatherings to observe and converse with other collectors. Laura will be available to talk to you about this fabulous collection. See her there!
