We love our Volunteers!

Behind the Scenes

"It's all about the people," is a familiar statement whether the speaker is referring to people from the past, people in the present, or people to the future.  Those living explain our history and heritage so that succeeding generations will be educated, strengthened, and inspired.

That’s why our volunteers give of their time, energy, experiences, and knowledge so that our community and its future will be benefitted.  That’s why they support our society.  If you’d like to contribute, have the time for something bigger than yourself, or need a purpose, come join us. We make our present and future better by caring for and sharing the knowledge of our rich and wonderful heritage.

Your volunteer time can be as large as 20 hours a week to as little as 1 hour per month.  It doesn't matter as long as you are enjoying yourself. Volunteers are needed for all sorts of endeavors, and you might enjoy being with very gracious and selfless people.

Our volunteers keeping our museum operating and assisting each other in the process.

If any of this sounds like you, please stop by the office at the Museum of Madison County History and talk to us.  Or, fill out the form and mail it to us.  We would love to have you be part of our endeavor.
