Our local veterans are documented by conflict in 88 large binders in our Nicholson Research Library. Their family histories are outlined in our Zook Genealogy Library as well. A number of them are shown in our Civil War Gallery and, for later conflicts, in our Hall of Honor.
Veterans from the Revolutionary War and the War of 1812, who travelled with their extended families into what would become Madison County, are listed in our Patriot Gallery as to the local cemetery which contains their mortal remains.
