The Museum of Madison County History offers a fine collection of vintage model railroads in six different scales. The model railroad layouts depict a range of time periods that reflect the historical importance of the railroad industry in Madison County.
These layouts feature both working trains and beautifully scaled scenery including the 1946 Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus Train display. The Railroad Room additionally offers books, magazines, photos, maps, and other various model railroad-related items for all visitors young and old.
